    1. This is my review from May 2006 as it appeared on another site."This morning I walked my son to the school bus stop with a renewed sense of self. I felt better and more positive than I had in a year. Why? Because I spent the past few days reading "From High Heels to Bunny Slippers", authored by Christine Conners. What a wonderful and inspiring book! Although I have been self-employed and my little one came to us through adoption and that meant that I missed the 3 am feedings and dirty diapers I [...]

    2. This book wasn't exactly what I expected. I was hoping I'd gain some insight on how to make the transition from being a working mom to a stay-home-mom. 3. Abandoned this about 2/3 of the way through. Not what I was expecting. I thought it would be more of a memoir of a career-woman-turned-stay-at-home-mom, and I feel like what I got instead what a preachy, holier-than-thou hypocrite, who advocated for adequate child care for working mothers for most of her career, and then totally changed her tune and now shuns the women who choose to work. She and Dr. Laura Schlessinger would really hit it off.
