    1. I absolutely loved this book! I don't think a mother could read it and not. The plot is not the fast moving kind that are more common today, but there is still plenty of excitement in it and tons of history and relateable experiences. I couldn't put it down and was sad when it was finished.

    2. As of my senior year in high school, this was my favorite book. I have read it several times but it has been years since I read it last. I think I still have it somewhere would be nice to read again to see what I think.Ivy comes West to marry and comes to live on a farm with her new husband in the middle of nowhere. Even today it is still the middle of nowhere. LOL This book about their survival, overcoming obstetrical and growing as individuals.

    3. This was a book that was given to me, to add to my library, so I decided to read it when I had nothing else to read. It is a pretty short book. It is about an LDS pioneer and her struggles in the area of Payson, UT. After reading "These is My Words", this book was a little lacking in excitement, but still a good book.

    4. A beautifully told story about a young maried couple learning to live out on the frontier. Ivy, tha main character, goes through many trials and learns how to not only survive, but flourish. It broke my heart in some parts.

    5. Lacey I found this for you at the big yard sale they had at elk ridge. I'll read it first to see how it is

    6. I enjoyed this book. It really shows the struggle of the early pioneers as they arrived in the Salt Lake Valley. Also the love of one man for his wife.
