    1. Loved, loved, loved this book as a teen. I just found it again and had to reread it to see if I still loved it. My tastes have matured, but I still liked it; I just found it too simplified a plot and love story for my tastes now, but still would recommend it. It has sentimental value to me from my young teen years when I coveted LDS fiction.

    2. I read this over and over as a young teen. Sarah's family must flee from the mobs. On the trail she meets a handsome man whom Sarah's see as someone who is kind and helps her family what she does't know is that the young man's uncle is one of the mobsters whom she is trying to flee.

    3. Good book. Interesting story and interesting characters. It was a bit cheesy and extremely melodramatic in some places. But what good romance isn't cheesy and melodramatic. Overall, a fun light read.

    4. I love Jacob! Story takes place when the saints are driven to Nauvoo. Jacob becomes converted through example and teachings of Joseph Smith.
