    1. When I initially read the blurb for Ravish Me by Cindy Jacks, I was intrigued by the words "ravishment fantasy". Having read (and enjoyed) several books featuring non-consensual and light bondage themes, I was curious as to how "ravishment fantasy" differed. I now know and can say that this is a sub-genre of erotica that I will be adding to the list of themes that I enjoy. Don’t judge me. I have been to enough message boards and discussion forums to know that the subject of "forced seduction" [...]

    2. I have to hand it Cindy Jacks, she handled this subject matter with dignity. I opened this book with very low expectations. I honestly expected it to be a cookie-cutter erotica filled with dirty words and four letter descriptionsa quick in and out, so to speak. Nonconsent or ravishment roleplay may not be pc or everyone's cup of tea but it is a common fantasy among some. Ravish Me is a true noncon roleplay, there is no humiliation, no (or little to no) pain. This isn't true BDSM, this is a rolea [...]

    3. Very good book - different. Somewhat similar to Willing Victim but without the dirty talk. I love the cover as it shows a real woman (not a twig) and matches my expectation of Jane in the story. I also liked that this was set in DC. I thought it particularly appropriate that Matthew lived in NoMa. Those of you who are active in BDSM and live in the DC area will understand why that might have been appropriate! I love local settings near me as I get a thrill everytime an area is mentioned I know a [...]

    4. Lately I have read some great stories with ravishment/non-consensual sex fantasy: Cara McKenna's Willing Victim and Lily Harlem and Natalie Dae's That Filthy Book are both novels I recommend, and since I was expecting the same kind of scorching hotness I was a bit let down by Ravish Me.The set-up sounded great, but the dialogues were somewhat jerky, which stood in contrast to the better executed narrative.Due to her strict religious upbringing Jane feels guilty when enjoying sex, so as she disco [...]

    5. Originally posted at: whippedcream2/201If you thought fantasies were a shallow bit of fun, be prepared to think again.Jane is not a vanilla girl, she likes it rough, hot and hard. Trouble is boyfriend Matthew is just too damn nice; not just nice, he’s romantic, sweet, gentle and considerate. Tough luck it seems he might be the one, because while he’s everything she wants out of the bedroom, he’s just not hitting the spot – literally – when they get between the sheets. So there's only o [...]

    6. 3 1/2 Stars ~ Noncon or ravishment role play is not my usual reading fare, however, the book blurb spurred my interests. Jane and Mathew are interesting and dynamic characters. Jane with her restrictive religious upbringing can't find sexual release unless it's forced on her. Mathew having been sexually assaulted as a teen intentionally hides his aggressive self for fear of losing control. When Jane confessed that his gentle lovemaking did not fulfill her sexually, he couldn't help his feelings [...]

    7. Jane and Matthew are both damaged, but sex is a therapy - the right kind of sex, that is.Jane was raised by repressive, conservative parents - sex is only for reproduction, anything else is shameful. Her first real boyfriend helped her figure out that non-consensual role play allowed her to enjoy sex. Matthew was raped at 15 and responds by being as nice as he possibly can, all the time, killing his first marriage for lack of emotion.Jane finally is able to tell Matthew what she needs sexually, [...]

    8. I didn't get it. I couldn't identify with the female character. And I didn't understand why the male was going along with her request when it seemed so not him. Ultimately, I felt really bad for him. And I'm glad they ended up in the perfect relationship for each other, but I still didn't get it. This was just a story for me. From the blurb, I was intrigued, and I had hoped that it would seem hot to me, and while it was definitely explicit, I just didn't feel the heat. And I dunno the story just [...]

    9. Ravish me is a definite must read for those that enjoy fantasy ravishment/rape play in their stories. But the story goes even deeper then just the need to be forced sexually.Very well done, author Cindy Jacks! Worth buying directly from ellora because amazon didn't have it listed yet.
