    1. This book was packed full of action. Within the book was an older cowboy and younger men - all of them were on a journey to rescue a woman. I did not realize how much hardship they would encounter on this trip. You have to admire men and women who endure difficult times. The key themes in the book were redemption, love, friendship and fighting evil. I highly recommend this book - I learned a lot about how difficult it was to survive in drought conditions.
