    1. There is a reason this series of books (currently 2 books in the series) is called Creepers Mysteries - they are just that: CREEPY! Author Connie Kingrey Anderson has come up with a unique concept in coming up with a short story (55 pages) followed by suggestions for how to create a “movie” using a script of the story in the back. While we read both books in the series (Haunted Cattle Drive and Toadies), all three of us agreed that we preferred Toadies over Book 1. It was super-creepy as a r [...]

    2. Arvin, Harry, and Gillian are back to bring you another creepy mystery in Creepers Mysteries "Toadies". The second book In the Creepers Mysteries Movie for the ears series. I love these books. I remember as a child when my mother would read to me and my cousins we use to go outside and pretend to be the characters in the story. Connie has come up with a great set up for this with the creepers books. The first half of the book is the story. In the second half ( music for the ears ) is the same st [...]

    3. WONDERFUL CHILDRENS BOOK!!!!Connie Kingrey Anderson did it again! This book is even better then the first, I would give it a 6 stars out of 5!Just in time for Halloween, this book has witches, a haunted house and a play within the story (drama-club kids are great!).Then the book doesn't end! Because the whole book is in play form in the back with information on sound effects, casting and rehearsing and more! This Creepers Mysteries Series is a must have for anyone with a child! Even if your chil [...]

    4. 2nd book in series. I did not read book 1. A short story involving 3 middle grade children in a play. "The Legend of Hamstead Farm". One sister good and one evil doing battle on Halloween night. A story that will keep your children listening as you read to them, as the suspense and tension increase. "Hop, Thud, Brush" heard throughout story, (this is explained as story evolves) as reader turns the pages, and everyone is enjoying this spooky story. A book for children and adults who like this typ [...]

    5. This book kept me glued to the pages. Anderson's characters are very entertaining. I finished this book in a few hours and now my daughter is about to read it. I am looking forward to acting out the "Movie for the Ear Script" with her and her brothers. I totally recommend Creepers Mysteries 2 Toadies. It will entertain your child and those of you with young hearts!Received the book for free through First Reads.

    6. What a great idea for a book! My kids love putting on 'shows' for us so even though my daughter is older and my son younger than this reading level, they both loved putting together the Movie for the Ear script after we read the story! p.s. I won this book in a First Read Giveaway!

    7. I loved this Book is a perfect book to read around halloween,I started ,and couldn't put it down,I will read it to my grandchildren, and then we can act the script together. This is a very good book.

    8. This book is unique in the fact it is a fascinating story that also gives the reader an opportunity to use it as a play. A very creative way to draw the reader into bringing this story to life.
