    1. What would you eat if you were hungry? Would you eat delicious leaves from a tree or sweet green grass? Perhaps it's food for a giraffe or zebra. A little blue speckled bird named Confetti is hungry. He visits with Emma elephant who offers him fruits and vegetables to eat but Confetti thinks those things are yucky. When he encounters Christopher crocodile, who is also hungry, confetti rethinks being hungry since he might be considered food for the moment. When momma comes home with supper, Confe [...]

    2. Confetti is a little bird who is very hungry. He wanders and tells his friends of his plight and they all offer what they like to eat, but he refuses all the items they like. When he finally comes upon his mother, she has an assortment of his favorites and he happily consumes them all to which his friends react with a loud "Yuck!"The illustrations are beautifully colorful and simple. A charming story for PK - K.

    3. Cute story about a bird trying to figure out what he is hungry for. He asks other animals and they share what they eat, but he doesn't like any of it. Then mom comes along with the food he should be eating. Love the expressions on Confetti's face and the animals faces sthroughout the story. Love the color in the illustrations. Fun bright story.

    4. I actually decided to read this one b/c the artwork on the inside pages reminded me of jammer stars on helmets (weird I know). Of course the book had nothing to do with roller derby but it was still very cute. Loved the zebra cameo!

    5. Gosh, I love these illustrations. I thought it was going to turn out like The Big Wide Mouth Frog, but it took a safer, simpler turn. Kids will enjoy helping out with the "Yum" and Yuck" parts. Might spark a discussion about what animals eat.

    6. We liked this book. The pictures were very colorful and at least *I* thought the bugs were cool. The spider with the eyes and tongue stuck out was fun to give voices to.

    7. Extremely attractive art work and witty writing make this a fun book for small children. They will enjoy acting out the dialogue and talking about the funny foods the little bird tries.

    8. The way this book was crafted reminded me of some Eric Carle's work. It's a really cute story---and my favorite was Confetti telling the Crocodile she was hungry. :)

    9. I like the shiny bird in contrast to the rest of the page. Collage style illustrations. Great for preschoolers. They could interact by saying yum and yucky at the right places.

    10. Cute story I bought for a 2yo nephew for Christmas. Very colorful and fun story, and also a little educational about what types of things different creatures eat.
