    1. I picked up this book as part of the Kindle Daily Deal on a whim and am I glad I did! What fun! I love the twist the author puts on the devil (Satan, Mephistopheles, Lucifer) where he is not the embodiment of evil. He is a necessary evil, so to speak. There are so few characters that are so alive to me I want to re-visit them: Eve and Roarke from the In Death series by J.D. Robb, Teren and Emma from the Conversion series by S.C. Stephens, the Vorkosigan family from the Vorkosigan saga by Lois McM [...]

    2. Rating: 2 out of 5.The story was different and interesting. It was a good effort for a fiction debut. But it wasn’t my cup of tea. The writing style might appeal to others. It was upbeat and very quirky. One of the downsides to the novel was the constant references to brand names and celebrity names. It was meant to be dazzling, but it made the story seem superficial to me. There are moments where Lucy dresses up in a $4000 Dior dress, where people are allowed to sip champagne in the waiting ro [...]

    3. I liked this book, its not too heavy, but light and entertaining.A perfect read, for your summer holiday. With a few giggles and an original spin on the romance genre.Lia has managed to create a likeable heroine in Lucy, and even though the hero is the Devil I though Lewis was great. I would have liked there to have been a little more character development with regards to Lucy's girlfriends in the book, and the sex scenes were a little rushed, but it kept my interest, and I would happily read an [...]

    4. This is one of those books in which feelings fluctuate in relation to history. At first I thought it was hilarious. A single woman in her 27 years that never has lucky to get a boyfriend, in the middle of New York, land of opportunity to romancing. Mainly because she lives with two friends who seem to have no problem like that. One is engaged but no hesitation in betraying the fiance when going to a club, the other does not want to compromise and go out every night with a different guy. It seems [...]

    5. A romance with a plot and a synopsis rather interesting and original on paper. Unfortunately, I have not been moved by the result. The reader follows Lucy and her two girlfriends in their outings in search of love or a one-night stand. Mel is engaged but appreciates some casual tongues exchanges with strangers behind the back of her husband-to-be. Nat enjoy life by changing guys every day. Until she meet a man to whom she is really attracted and regret her slutty behavior. Lucy seeks a soul [...]

    6. Contemporary, paranormal chick litLucy is a 20-something living in NY City and working at a low-paying job at a boutique PR firm. After her long-time boyfriend dumps her, she moves into a small apartment with her two best girlfriends from college. Nat is an independently wealthy, gorgeous model who has sex with a different guy every night. Mel is an 80-hour-per-week management consultant who is engaged to the VP of a software company but engages in drunken make-out sessions with strangers she me [...]

    7. This is one of those cheesy, predictable books where the characters rarely show signs of having more than two dimensions, the plot never throws up any surprises and just occasionally you find yourself skimming a scene because it’s just so cringy. But it’s also one of those books that makes up for all that by being just good fun. There’s very little here that you won’t have seen a hundred times before. Even the interesting concept of the Devil and whether or not he is evil is brushed over i [...]

    8. Dating the Devil by Lia RomeoDating the Devil’s synopsis sounding promising and the cover was cute, I thought why not. I thought this book would be something different than my usual reads so I gave it a shot. This book was just ok. I liked the different approach to the romance, having never read a book involving the devil. I would not call this book paranormal, rather romance with a twist. I loved the idea of the devil being romantic, hot, and rich, but he had a rather sad quality to him givin [...]

    9. I really enjoyed this book and finished it less than three days. I think the thing I liked best was how much it reminded me of my twenties -- it really has the feel of truth. (I've been to Peculier Pub more times than I'd like to admit. ;)) The characters were engaging and the plot was fun. I especially liked the side plots about the narrator's friends' dating exploits All in all a really fun chick-lit read with an interesting supernatural twist. I'll read more by this author for sure!

    10. Wow this was an awesome book! I didn't expect to like it so much! It was a fun, cute and hot read! There were times I didn't like Satan very much. But I also found him fascinating, even cute and kinda sexy. I think Lucy and Lewis were perfect as a couple. Hot and passionate and kinda cute. And their encounters were so fiery! Ehrmquite literally one time. I really enjoyed reading this book and I can't believe I didn't come across it sooner. Cause this is exactly the kind of genre I love reading. [...]

    11. Lucy O'Neill has just about cut off men from her life, after he ex dumps her and a slew of bad dates from hell, she can't think of anything worse than jumping back in the dating pool. Of course when you don't wish for something to happen, the opportunity usually jumps into your lap. Meet Lewis Mephisto all the things Lucy could wish for in a perfect man, except one thing he is the devil, satan, and all that entails.Full review on Single Titlessingletitles/?p=8644

    12. This book was a lot of fun and not at all what I expected. It's fast-paced, and the heroine is good-hearted without being a total sap. The dialogue is fun and articulate, and her friends arewell, the way real friends are. Flawed, just like us. It's totally believable that the three of them would share an apartment in New York. A quick, quirky read.

    13. Now I wasn't sure where this one was going to go. I didn't expect much and although it was a decent read I wasn't all the sucked in and impressed. It just wasn't my type of book I guess. I know that there are many out there who will love but it just wasn't my cup of tea I guess you could say. For the man being the devil I was expecting more; not sure what exactly but more than what I got.

    14. If you like a little paranormal in your romance and enjoy stretching the bounds of realism just a little, this is a great pick. In the end, it’s a cute, entertaining romance about an everyday woman dating the devil, and should be handled as such. - Full review available at romanticreadsandsuch.wordpress

    15. I thought this was a cute read. Different than other contemporary romances - definitely a unique storyline. I enjoyed the fact that it was something different than what I've been reading lately and would definitely read more from this author.

    16. Entertaining enough to finish, but not great. It was a silly, light read in between more involved novels.

    17. The characters in the book really rubbed me the wrong way, I guess showing my lack of humor. I just didn't like how any of them acted.

    18. This was okay, but not great. The story was fairly predictable, and there wasn't much to the plot. Overall, it was okay at best, but not one I'd read again.

    19. This wasn't bad, but it was slow in parts. I'd recommend this for those who are just getting into pnr. I call this paranormal light.
