    1. Suzi Love

Suzi Love now lives in a sunny part of Australia after spending many years in developing countries in the South Pacific Her greatest loves are traveling, anywhere and everywhere, meeting crazy characters, and visiting the Australian outback She adores history, especially the many layered society of the late Regency to early Victorian eras In and around London, her titled heroes and heroines may live a privileged and gay life but Suzi also likes to dig deeper into the grittier and seamier levels of British life and writes about the heroes and heroines who challenge traditional manners, morals, and occupations, either through necessity or desire.

    1. *ACR copy in exchange for honest review*The Viscount's Pleasure houseis a story about 3 young (naive, insecurebut sweet ) girls.ciding they had enough of being innocent (since that really didnt get them anywhere but the old spinister shelf :P)and finally decided the best way to lose there "innocence"'s virginity was by going to a local whore house to watch the pleasantries( Christ ! what were they thinking ?!)Ok ! now plot wise an EOTICAis book was defiantly so damn hot! All those activities and [...]

    2. What a delightful surprise this book turned out to be!OK, there were plenty of scenes depicting all kinds of lascivious behaviour but there was so much more to this book I hadn’t anticipated - a wickedly entertaining plot, likeable characters, delicious sexual tension, ribald humour and a rich historical atmosphere.Justin just seemed to weave his way into my heart. His hedonistic lifestyle belies the fact that, at heart, he is an honourable man. Everything he's done has been with one purpose - [...]

    3. I was gifted a copy of The Viscount's Pleasure House when I was fortunate enough to meet the author in personanks Suzi Love.Ms Love is a new author to me and being a fellow Aussie I wasn't sure what type of historical romance I'd get. I was surprised that it was an erotic historical with characters that jumped off the pages. We are introduced to the notorious Virile Viscount when Lady Chrissie, the heroine, comes to obtain his services. Unfortunately Justin, Viscount Hawkesbury, is not in the be [...]

    4. Review****This book was part of a blog tour, I received a copy for my honest review****The Viscount's Pleasure house was a very enjoyable read. It was nice to venture back to my historical romance roots and get down to the nitty gritty of things. That's to say that this is not your average historical romance, it took it that one step forward into erotic. The idea of three woman from the upper crust of society confronting a known brothel owner to instruct them into the ways of the sensual arts wa [...]

This story revolved around two different plots. The first one was about the hero trying desperately to locate his mother and sisters. The second one was about the heroine trying to help her two frien [...]

    6. The Viscount’s Pleasure House by Suzi LoveThis is the first book I’ve read by Ms. Love, and she doesn’t disappoint. The concept of the story is fresh, and the romance between Justin and Chrissie is well developed. Since I’m not normally an erotica reader, I was happy that Justin doesn’t have any desire to share Chrissie with anyone. However that in no way lowered the heat level.

    7. Loved this rollicking good Regency romance. I love the hero, Justin and the pain of his family's situation.

    8. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author in exchange for a fair and honest review. I rated it 4.5 out of 5 stars.Reviewed for For Whom The Books Toll4 1/2, ScorchingLady Chrissie Wellsby and her two country friends research dozens of rogues before selecting the notorious Viscount Hawkesbury, owner of London’s most exclusive and expensive brothel, to educate them in erotic seduction. 9. OkSuzi Love is NOT just a One Hit Wonder for meShe is a Historical Maven!! I simply adored THE VISCOUNT'S PLEASURE HOUSE! I was sucked into the story from page one, and with each page turned, I was waiting to see what naughty things Justin, or Virile Viscount to the ton, was going to share with Chrissie and her friends, Gillian and Anna. Suzi wrote Justin just the way I like my heroes, a little bit tortured and a whole lotta heart, it might be buried a little deep at first, but with each smile a [...]

    10. Lady Chrissie Wellsby goes to Viscount Justin Hawkesbury with a proposal. She will help him find his mom and sisters if he will help educate her and her two friends in how to please a man. They want to do this by going to his brothel and watching to see what the patrons do. He finally agrees and thinks one look will send them screaming. They all have different reasons for wanting to learn and shock him by staying. They also manage to talk him into having one last Sultan gala. While Justin starte [...]

    11. 4.5 Stars!!!5 Flames for Hotness!!This is my first book by Suzi and I am pleased to say I will be reading more of her books. I don’t get a chance to read too much historical romance these days but with books like this I would like to read them everyday. The Viscount “Justin” is a man that when you get down to it is looking to be loved. He had a bad upbringing and misses his family very much. In walks Chrissie and she throws his world upside down. Chrissie is also looking to be loved but no [...]

    13. Please visit tattooedbookreview for this review and more!I thoroughly enjoyed this sexy, historical romp! I was immediately whisked away to another time and place, and I was quite happy to stay for a while.I was drawn in by the main characters, especially Justin, the "Virile Viscount". His is an intriguing, lovable, and flawed character, engaging in the most dishonorable of activities in order to become the honorable man he seems in his heart to be. When Chrissie enters the story, sparks fly and [...]

    14. Lady Chrissie Wellsby and her two female friends decide that they need an education of the erotic kind, and after some research they decide Viscount Justin Tremayne, also known as the Virile Viscount, is the man for the job. They blackmail him into helping their cause.I enjoyed this Regency romp very much with its well-rounded characters, fun dialogue and spicy plot set in historical times.Lady Chrissie and the viscount were so well-matched. They’re perfect together, and it was fun watching th [...]

    15. My first thought after reading this book was “wow!” I will admit that in the beginning (the first couple of chapters), I was finding it a little slow. However, there was enough intrigue to keep me reading. I am of the “Tom and Jerry” age so the cat and mouse game is entertaining to me. Suzi Love creates the perfect cat and mouse game in this book. You never know who is going to get the upper hand, the Viscount or Lady Wellsby. I truly enjoyed a look into the “society” women were forc [...]

    16. The Virile Viscount is hanging up his harem pants to become a less jaded and more respectable version of himself, when Chrissie, Lady Wellsby, makes him an offer he can't refuse. She will give him the one thing he desires more than any other for the opportunity of spending a week at his Pleasure Palace with her friends. The whole escapade is far more complex, educative and entertaining than can possibly be explained here, as the three ladies, Anna, Gillian and Chrissie, embark on a sexual and se [...]

    17. A week or so ago I had a quiet Friday night and decided to start The Viscount's Pleasure House. It kept me up a little past my bedtime, but it was worth it. Three proper ladies convince Justin Tremayne, Viscount Hawkesbury, to let them visit his Pleasure House so they can learn how to keep their men interested. It's a clever set-up, and the author plays it out with a heavy helping of goodhearted entertainment. It's all very naughty, though no one is truly evil or mean. I hope it doesn't give any [...]

    18. H: Justin Tremayneh: Lady Chrissie Wellsby So Lady chrissie and two friends go to Viscount Hawkesburys so they can learn "erotic seduction"Both the H and h have issue. Justin thinks he is unlovable and Chrissie thinks she does not have the goods to keep a man. This is a historic romance /erotic book about how the H and h can over come their issue and learn to trust and love in each other leaving the past and insincerity behind. I really Liked this book it is really hot and steamy ( not for the f [...]

    19. The sensuality level for this book is labeled “hot.” The term I would use is “scorching.” For readers who love erotica and a venture into the past, “The Viscount’s Pleasure House,” is your book. As someone who doesn’t read many historical novels what impressed me about this book was the author, Suzi Love’s, command of the era in which she’s set her novel. As for the characters, Justin is your perfect tortured hero; Chrissie, an intriguing heroine. Their relationship is titill [...]

    20. A great read from start to finish. Fun intrigue and example of what friends will do for each other. Also a great story of finding love in the most unlikely of places.

    21. Worth reading for the erotic concept. The dialogue and writing in general was 5-star in places (particularly in the first few chapters), but overall needed refinement.

    22. Justin, a Viscount who has been prostituting himself and running a brothel so he can earn enough money to track down his missing mother and sisters, is jaded with sex and women. That is, until Chrissie walks into his house and proposes a bargain - she'll give him information she's gathering about his family if she and her two friends can gain expertise about how to please men in order to better their situations. He reluctantly agrees, thinking they'll never stick it out and will run shocked from [...]

    23. I received this ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. The gist: Chrissie is a wealthy, young widow. She has two friends who need some sex advice so they can make their men happy. Gillian is married, Anne is betrothed. Chrissie, having the freedom to travel about and whatnot, contacts the notorious rake, Justin. Justin is known as the Virile Viscount. He owns a well-known, high-class brothel and his country estate is known as the Pleasure House because of the infamous sex parties h [...]

    24. What are three proper ladies to do when innocence about erotic matters leave them lonely and craving? Get knowledge! Each with their own stories and aims, three ladies contrive to blackmail the most notorious rake in London to tutor them in bedchamber manners. In order to get rid of their ignorance and naïveté, the ladies approach the infamous viscount Hawkesbury who runs a pleasure house that caters to the tons' most basic needs. It's Lady Wellsby who dares take the first step. Aghast but int [...]

    25. “Remove that hideous gown!” How about that for a first line in a book? I will admit it caught my attention, although that really wasn't the very first line. The very first line was: Early in the reign of Queen VictoriaHawkesbury House in Belgravia, LondonSo you can imagine my surprise, not to mention the shock to poor Lady Christina Wellsby aka Chrissie, when I read “Remove that hideous gown!” in this Victorian age historical. As I continued to read, this story only got more intriguing b [...]

    26. Engaging characters, historical setting, determined heroine and kind hearted if more than slightly jaded hero with an ulterior motive – how can you resist? Suzi Love manages to grab attention from the start with Justin, the “Virile Viscount” planning for the last gasp production at his notorious pleasure house before he retires the moniker and delves full time into finding his mother and sisters, tossed from the family home and out of his life in a fit of pique and cruelty of his father. 27. Lady Chrissie Wellsby and her friends want to learn techniques to keep their men happy. Chrissie has a proposition for Justin, she will give him information a [...]

    29. I bought this book because the premise caught my attention. While I've avoided all the insanity surrounding 50 Shades, I have long appreciated a spicy romance. What author Suzi Love created tantalizes, yet it didn't quite "fit" as a purely erotic tale. Funny enough, it has too much story, but in a good way. To enjoy this book I recommend shelving any expectations of 50 Shades of Grey. This is a historical romance without skimming over the raunchy bits. But there's an underlying story; the charac [...]

    30. ***ARC from NetGalley in Exchange for an honest review***This was a strange read for me. Three women in search of a "mentor" in the erotic arts that involved mostly looking but not touching. I liked that it revolved around more than just Chrissie and Justin and included arcs into their friends lives but it just seemed a little weird for these Victorian ladies to go to a "pleasure house" so they can please their men. Pleasure should be a two way thing but I digress. The plot was good and kept my [...]
