    1. We have worn this book out from reading it so much. Perfect for a kid who loves trucks! The last pages include matching games which never seem to get old.

    2. What we love about this series:-Photos or realistic illustrations in a field of 3-5 discrete items against a white background per page; ideal for tacting-Titles that cater to children with specific interests in: dinosaurs, trucks, vehicles, animals, farm animals.-Titles that assist with key learning areas: numbers, colors, first words, first words in Spanish, ABCs.-Taxonomic approach may appeal to the organizational instincts of kids with ASD-"My First Body Book" has a two-page spread with a fie [...]

    3. I give this three stars because these first words books are so dull, but my 20 month old would definetly give it five starshe can't get enough of it!The pictures are very bold and eye catching. Learn about different types of busy trucks, carriers, giant carriers, fire trucks, fire emergency vehicles, road builders, loaders and lifters, dump trucks, diggers, mighty trucks, little trucks, farm machines, and tractor attatchments. 53 different kinds of trucks are picturedd if thats not quite enough, [...]

    4. H. picked out My First Truck Board Book at the library today. I'm thinking it's because of his love for that blasted Big Farm Machines book. Boys will be boys? And then some. Now, what My First Truck Board Book lacks in depth (as opposed to [Rough & Tough Tractors & Trucks:], for example), it certainly makes up in breadth. Alas, no buses. Much to H.'s disappointment.

    5. Every page or two page spread has a number of photographs of trucks, in various categories - little ones, fire trucks, farm vehicles, that sort of thing. Each truck is identified. At the end, there's a few pages where older toddlers can match wheels or people to trucks. Just right for this age group, especially any baby or toddler who is really into trucks. I recommend this book, and, really, the whole series.

    6. This was a gift from the Lewiston Library for being a first timer at story time. This is really more of a boy's book, I guess, since it is more likely that a boy would be interested in trucks, but it was still cool like all the other books in this series. I like how at the end, the last few pages use the information. For example, in this one, it asks you to match the truck and the person who uses it.

    7. I love trucks and diggers. My favorite page had an excavator, which is my favorite digger. I liked seeing the other cars and trucks but the digger page was where I spent the most time.Papa is a big fan of DK books. They have a wonderful collection of photos across all their titles.

    8. This is done by DK Publishing. Not sure why it says Constance Robinson. This book is pretty boring and dull to me, but my boys love it and have spent many hours looking at it (hence the 4 stars). Great photos as always from DK.

    9. It was fine, but the other "my first board books" offer more variety. Perhaps if you have a very passionate truck lover this book would be perfect for you otherwise it is fairly repetitive.

    10. Just because this is a board book, don't be fooled! It is great for kids that are older--my son is 3 and this is one of his favorites!

    11. It does become tiresome to read every name of every truck known to mankind over and over and over again. The boys just LOVE it though!
