    1. I was sent this book for review and was immediately drawn to the attractive cover-it was bright, cheery and age appropriate, and gave me a taste of what to expect. Judi Curtin is not an author I have heard of before, although by all accounts she is fairly prolific- this is the 8th book in the series and she's also written other books for younger readers. The back cover quote from the Irish Independent claimed her as 'Ireland's answer to Jacqueline Wilson'- high praise indeed! This book also remi [...]

    2. Good bookI love this book I have read the whole series they are all great ☺Recommend it to people who like Jacqueline wilsompn

    3. A very brilliant finale to the series of my childhood. However, I think it's very safe to say that I have grown out of this series. Alice, Megan and the other characters will always have a special place in my heart.unless I forget them when I'm much older. Yikes!

    4. I received a this book as part of a giveaway.Judi Curtins books are aimed at young girls, between the ages of 7 to 11, and well written with a an entertaining story. The stories are very simple, very similar to Jacqueline Wilson, and easy to read.Viva Alice follows Megan, who with Alice, is invited on Holiday by Grace to Lanzarote. Can the three girls solve Graces brothers relationship problems and will Megan agree to help her biggest bully Melissa?

    5. 3.5 stars. The main characters are 13 but I think the book is most suited to 10-12 year olds. Although perhaps a bit too heavy handed, I mostly liked how it dealt with bullying.
