    1. I was intrigued by the book, but I hope the synopsis is a lie. If you don't want details of the book, quit reading this review. If Dylan is her soulmateI'm the queen of England. He dumps her for greener pastures. He walks out on her. When she come home the only things left are her clothes and a coffee maker. He left her for a hot female who provided wealth, excitement and future opportunities. He did everything possible by blaming their problems on Juliette. He told her he hated her and she was h [...]

    2. >>Link to my review of Jealousy | Dylan | Austin<<4.5/5 I'M-JULES-NOT-JULIETTE STARS!It was in that moment I decided I would trade Heaven for Hell. When Dylan Somers ends everything with Juliette Weston, he destroys her life. Now three years later, Jules is a mere shell of the Juliette that was in love with Dylan. Spending years trying to move on yet never forgetting Dylan, she sees him again on one fateful night. The shell Jules spent so long to build, starts to crack under his prese [...]

    3. I am a big fan of serial series'. As soon as I saw that S.L. Scott was writing one, I couldn't wait to get my hands on it and read it. I dropped everything that I was doing to read this and I was not disappointed!Scorned follows the story of Juliette and Dylan. Juliette was happy and in love, until Dylan broke her heart. Now, she is someone completely different, numb, desperately trying to move on with her life.Three years later, she bumps into the one person she thought she'd never see again. N [...]

    4. Short read with cliffhanger ending leaving you wondering how its going to pan out.The thought and feelings of Jules, her story of how she can't stand to be called Juliet anymore how she was hurt and broken by a man she thought was her future who made her happy and vice versa then he just leaves?. Three years later their paths cross, Jules has never let go she hates him and still battles with her feelings, he broke a once confident woman, can she forgive him now that she has seen him, can she move [...]

    5. S.L. Scott has done it once again! She has lured me in and held me captive. The story gripping me from the first word and not letting go even after the conclusion of book 1. The story had all the key components I look for in a book! It was filled with heartbreak, regrets and passion. The perfect recipe for perfection! The story is weaved together by the present and past. The memories offering a glimpse into the betrayal Juliette was made to endure. She is forced to relive her past pain all whils [...]

    6. Reviews and other stuff can be found here“In times like these I realize how much effort I put into pretending to be normal.”This story is many things. Irresistible, sexy, intense, and heartbreaking being some of those things. This is my first S.L. Scott read I couldn’t be happier with my choice. I am not going to lie. Going into this knowing that it focused around a love triangle I was skeptical. I am not a fan. It has always been unnecessary drama to me. But when I started to read this se [...]

    7. Irresistible. Addictive. Sexy. Intense. The best I’ve seen from S.L. Scott and one of my favorites this year!“I HATE HIM with all my soul and every fiber muscle and nerve of my being. Dylan Somers broke me and my heart simultaneously, destroying everything I knew my life to be.”The synopsis alone had me hooked, but as soon as I began I was irreversibly sucked in by the story, into a raging vortex of anger, hurt and yes — scorn. Because Juliette Weston had been scorned. Left alone in a fre [...]

    8. I HATE SERIALS. I hate them. Like most humans, I am an instant gratification kind of person, so if I read something that ends in a cliffhanger, I’d better have the next one in my hot little hands so that I can dive right in. That said…I LOVE S.L. SCOTT. Really love her, so I just had to read this one and as expected, I’m not at all sorry I did.In the first volume of the From the Inside Out series we meet Jules. She is a workaholic that lives and breathes her dream job as the manager of an [...]

    9. **I received an e-book ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review.**When I heard S.L. Scott had a new serial coming out, I got a little excited. No, that's not true - I got way excited. Scott is one of my favorite indie authors, and I've always enjoyed her work. Scorned, the first book in the From the Inside Out serial, was no different. I enjoyed every minute of it.The title of this piece was enough alone to make me want to read it. After all "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned." [...]

    10. Although I am a second chance romance fan, after reading Scorned I am really hoping that this series doesn't go that route. Dylan broke Jules's heart in the worst way three years ago, and even with the dual POVs showing his side of the story in addition to hers, I have no desire to see the two of them get back together. If that is in fact where the author decides to take the story, she seriously has her work cut out for her to make me ok with that outcome. After Dylan ripped her heart out, Jules [...]

    11. Loved! Ms. Scott's writing style is fantastic. Can't wait for more. Great story. I am a huge fan of serials and I love S.L. Scott’s writing, so I jumped at the chance to read her newest work. Jules had her heart broken by Dylan several years ago and this story is told in dual POV’s. She is emotionally closed off because of the horribly painful break-up but seems like she might give love a chance again with the totally sexy Austin.Jules has struggled to regain a normal like after Dylan abrupt [...]

    12. When Dylan leaves, Jules is devastated. To deal with the pain, Jules closes herself off emotionally and concentrates on her career. She does try another relationship with a friend, Brandon, but she cannot let go of the emotional devastation from the breakup with Dylan. Brandon remains a good friend to her. 3 years later, Jules sees Dylan and this event becomes a catalyst that slowly puts cracks in her defenses that keeps her at a distance from other relationships.I felt Jules' pain and devastati [...]

    13. That ending was so abrupt And in confusedNot really recommending to anyone. My first 2 stars I thinkThe first chapter was quite shitty, if I really have to be honest. But the author was really good at first person POV. I'll give my personal opinion that she should refrain from using third person narration in the first chapter/'prologue' of her book.Third person POV might be her weak style of writing, or maybe it's just not my 'style' but I think it really caused readers to stop reading at the ve [...]

    14. I heard about this series on a blog and it sounded interesting because of the whole “pick your own ending” aspect, and I thought that was pretty different and a cool idea. Also, being that these books were a bargain (first one free, 2nd one 99cents), I figured I’d give it a chance. This was pretty good. Really short, only 85 pages so it did seem rushed and I'm not really connected to characters yet. However, I'll say that I liked Austin pretty immediately. So now I am curious to see what h [...]

    15. 5 scorned stars!Let me just say that I love serials. I've read quite a few recently that I've fell in love with. Cliffhangers don't bother me as long as I don't have to wait too long to get the next installment. Scorned didn't end with a cliffhanger but it does leave you wanting more. I can't say much without giving spoilers so I will refrain from saying too many details. This story was well written with characters that are easy to connect to. Some more than others ;) So if you're a fan of seria [...]

    16. FREE right now on - go one-click amzn/100V82hI really liked this quick read. It is a serial so it is pretty short - just under 100 pages. I definitely want to read the next one so the author did her job in getting me into the story. This was my first read by S.L. Scott and it certainly will not be the last. Make sure to grab this up - especially if you have not read anything by her yet. The perfect start to what looks to be a promising serial.Full review to come.

    17. I really didn't plan on reading another serial, it just sort of happened and now I must know how this all plays out! We don't get a lot of answers in this short read but we get to know Jules well and my heart truly went out to her. I like her BFF Brandon but I absolutely LOVE Austin. Dylan??? not so much. He cheated, she hasn't really moved on from the hurt and it's been 3 years. I hope Austin helps her to do that but I know it won't be that simple. Now I'm off to see how many volumes the author [...]

    18. I just simply adore S L Scott's work. She has a way of creating characters that are so endearing they stay with you long after the final page has been turned. Yet again Miss Scott has lured me in with with a balance of angst and romance. In life and in love The first cut is the deepest. Do we ever really get over the first person to break our hearts. I guess we have to wait and see. Cannot wait to see how this story plays out.

    19. 5 starsScorned was a very heartfelt and emotional read.I was left with all these feels.S.L Scott has done it again, she's written a story that draws you in with her words and characters.Counting down the days until book two Jealousy is released.JealousyI received an advance copy from the author in exchange for my honest thoughts.

    20. Fade to black sex sceneBOO!!! :(So I was dying for this book. I pre ordered it and everything!!!I finished it within a few hoursDylan I hated but when I read his POVI understood and loved him a bit.Jules has been hurt so much by Dylan and it's scarred her.I can't wait for the next book. This was only part of a serial sadly but I'm definitely hooked on these characters. What brought my rating down unfortunately was the fade to black sex scene! BUMMERRRRRR!!

    21. asks, what did I think? No words to describe how quickly I was sucked into the lives for Juliette and Dylan. My heart broke for Juliette - the pain she had experienced at the hands of Dylan. I'm not sure forgiveness could even be in my vocab after that. The emotion of these characters pours off the pages.

    22. This felt quite meaty for a series. There was depth in the content and I felt like it was more than just scene setting like some first in series. This installment shows the devastation following a break up and how a woman scorned protects herself from more hurt. Can't wait to read the next.

    23. This was an OK book. It seemed slow at first and when the spiciness began, it ended. I don't think it was enough to drive me to the next book. No, it was definitely not enough to move forward. Hate that!

    24. Holy mother of God! Why hadn't I read this sooner? I loved it I absolutely loved it. I'm not usually into novellas, but this one is totally worth it. Okay Now on to part 2

    25. AmazingA great beginning to a wonderful story! Can't decide whose team I am that's why rushing to the second part immediately.

    26. Review originally posted at Ramblings From This ChickAt this point, I would read absolutely anything by S.L. Scott. Every book of hers that I have read has been one that I loved from start to finish, and she delivers every single time. I have to say that I was really excited for this new serial though. It drew me in with it's intriguing blurb and the sexy covers. But what kept me devouring the pages was this amazing story. After reading part 1, I know that the road ahead isn't an easy one but I [...]

    27. Review forthcoming on a-reader-lives-a-thousand-liveJules has spent 3 years heartbroken over Dylan Sommers, the man who left her for no real reason. Though her friend Brandon has helped to support her, she is still not as together as she once was. Instead, Jules has poured herself into a career, and is now has a successful art career through which she's met Austin. Dylan has been making appearances back in Jules' life, and she isn't sure quite how to deal with that. But Austin is different, sexy [...]

ENTER TO WIN AN EBOOK COPY HERE romanceaddictbookblog/**ARC provided by author in exchange for an honest review**I’ve been trying to stay away from this trend of serials that seems to be the new thing lately. But, I had to give in when I found out S.L. Scott had one. Except, when I was reading Scorned, it felt like a whole new side to S.L. that I had never seen! It was different than all her other works! I think the shock was that it was a little reminiscent of her older works like A Prior Eng [...]
