    About "M.J. Logue"

    1. M.J. Logue

Writer, mad cake lady, re enactor, historian Been slightly potty about the clankier side of Ironside for around 20 years, and lists amongst my heroes in this unworthy world Sir Thomas Fairfax, Elizabeth Cromwell and John Webster for his sense of humour When not purveying historically accurate cake to various re enactment groups across the country, M.J Logue can usually be discovered practising in her garden with a cavalry backsword.

    1. Teeny story only on Kindle. Evocative - what would it be like to awaken crusty and deformed when your last memory was of being a lovely, strong, 20 year old?

    2. I Christened my new Kindle with this short story which fills in details of Thankful 'Hapless' Russell's former life.I loved it. It was good to get to know why Hapless was as he is and a very good start to my Kindle reading life :)Written with all the usual skill and mastery shown by this extraordinary and unique voice so that, despite what had happened to Thankful, once again MJ Logue leaves us with a 'feel good' feeling.

    3. A nice little bit of back story filling in for Hapless Russell. We see him before he appears in Hollie Babbitt's life and find out why he is the way he is. If you've enjoyed the rest of the series then this will give you a few more jigsaw pieces. Well worth reading.
