    1. There are people who labor under the impression that the final word on what it means to be a modern day New Yorker rests with the works of writers that are known as experts on sexuality, race, and relationships. They're wrong. Alex Clermont, presents various incidents revolving around these topics in short stories using characters made up of black, brown, and white Americans. I don't use the term American lightly, as this collection of predicaments could take place in many American cities; hence [...]

    2. Read this review and more at The Bohemian Housewife BlogI was pretty excited to read this book! It's the first single-author short story collection I've had in over a year. A big problem I find in the single-author collections is the lack of diversity or telling the same stories in a different tone. Let me tell you, that is no issue here. 3. What an amazing book! When you travel to New York; quite often you will catch yourself people watching and wondering about everyone's unique story. This book introduces you to a variety of characters and their stories living in New York. A total page turner! Alex Clermont writes witty and posed all at the same time. Highly recommend this read.

Everyone deals with different issues in their lives, and with these characters we see everyone from a young man from a small town moving to the big city, [...]
