    1. ~3.5~This book is enjoyable in that Is This Really Happening? way. Grant is a 26-year-old neurotic virgin. He’s OCD, slightly flamboyant, and lacking social skills. He was picked on as a kid and has zero self-esteem. He’s been on many first dates but no second dates, because he seems to attract losers and married men. Grant works as a teller at a bank and is nice to the customers but rude to everyone else. Enter Tristan Carr, auto mechanic: perfect name for the perfect guy. Tristan spends tw [...]

    2. I have a ARC for this book but have been dragging my feet for weeks to get started. I decided to read the 3 reviews that have been posted to pump me up a little and get into the headspace, but now I realize there is no way I could give this one an honest try because of too many personal pet-peeves.(view spoiler)[Man who dates a mechanic but has OCD and can't stand dirt. Quickie wedding, but no sex because OCD man has issues. Vile homophobic ex-wife character. (hide spoiler)]I'm passing.

    3. Review originally posted atSinfully.Grant is 26 and never been kissed, all his prior dates ending in disaster such that a second date has never happened. Some of it is attributed to his personality quirks, but plenty of contributions were also made by the jerks he went out with. Grant has had a lot of changes recently in his life. His job transferred him an hour away requiring him to move out of his beloved mother’s house, leave his best friend behind and adjust to having new coworkers at the [...]

    4. DNF 80%Wow, wow wow wow… That was such a weird book. This review has the very strong possibly of being long and ranty, but I’ll do my best to keep things short, sweet and to the point. Beware there will be SPOILERS throughout this review.Grant is a 26 year old virgin who works as a bank teller. One day he meets Tristan Carr, 32 year old mechanic and business owner. At first Grant isn’t sure if Tristan is gay because he’s huge and muscled and has a daughter. When it becomes clear that Tri [...]

    5. 4.5 Stars - The description for 'Bankers’ Hours' drew me right in, and being familiar with Wade Kelly I knew it would be a sweet romance. However, the author really outdid herself here. This is far more than a story about a slightly quirky young man and his first relationship. There is definitely sweetness here, and Grant broke my heart more times than I imagined, while Tristan was everything I hoped for Grant's sake. There's humor and love, and there's a reality and a depth to these character [...]

    6. This was more fun that I planned on. I love a story that can take you out of a stressful day (and mine was hella stressful) and just let you read a story, yes a bit over the top story, but a story that allows you to get lost and remember to not take life too seriously.Straight away, I got neurotic Grant. I won’t go into every way I got him but there were many similarities between us with how we see the word, how we tell time, how we associate surface cleanliness and well, how we think. It was t [...]

    7. I'm having a hard time with coming up for a rating for this one. Everything was just so over the top. I actually didn't like Grant. I thought he was a rude, selfish asshole. (view spoiler)[The part where Tristan came to Grant's after work and then Grant made a big deal about how dirty he was. That part pissed me off so much. Then Tristan just undresses outside? NO! Fuck that. I would have left Grant at that point.(hide spoiler)]I just couldn't overlook Grant's attitude and when he said Tristan's [...]

    8. This book has a lot of themes I like with opposite attract and a virgin hero with lots of socially awkward and there is dating. I really like the sections of the book that have to do with the heroes merging their lives and working on equity in the relationship as well as roles. However, there is crazy over the top drama with a secondary character than needed much more nuance that derailed the book for me.

    9. (Originally reviewed for Love Bytes Reviews with a copy provided by the author / publisher for an honest review. Rated 4.5 out of 5.0 stars.)I really enjoyed this newest book from Wade Kelly! Ms. Kelly took “insta-love” to a new level with this one, and she did it in a way that sounded perfectly plausible, if a bit fast! OK, maybe not perfectly plausible… unless you’re looking at it in the time frame of a Cinderella story, but it was entertaining. We used to refer to relationships that d [...]

    10. 2.5 starsthis is a book you read only to escape realism and enter soap opera land. It's NOT bad per says Just so OTT I had to keep reminding myself "it's just a book" to carry on. If you have issues with books that are INSTA LOVE and and everything elseybe skip this one. ❥❥**´¨)¸.•´¸.•*´¨) ¸.•*¨)(¸.•´ (¸.•`*ARC provided by Author in exchange for an honest review.Reviewed by Jaime from Alpha Book Club

    11. I feel as if I know both guys, so it’s easy to relate to them and understand where they are both coming from. The story flows along, with me caught up in the lives of the guys. I am happy for them, sad for them and rooting for them on every page. The author wrote a beautiful romance story, one I love and I need to read again. thetbrpile.weebly/reviews/

    12. I'm smitten with this book, usually I don't really like the type of guy like Grant who's tended to be overdramatic and cried a lot but maybe I'm in the mood for this kind of sappy comedic story and there are a lot of tender, cheesy romantic moment between Grant and Tristan that makes me melting inside.

    13. Bankers' Hours by Wade Kelly (MM/Romance)A copy of this book was provided to me by Inked Rainbow Reads in exchange for an honest review.****4 STARS****This was a cute story and I fell in love with 26 year old, Grant Adams. He's so quirky with a low self confidence and he's a mama's boy. lol. Still, with all his quirks, he was hard to not love. His story starts with his sudden move to another town cause his job was closed down and he had been transferred to a new bank. There he meets Tristan, a d [...]

    14. What an absolutely delightful and fabulous story. One of my all-time favorite type of characters are the quirky, awkward, sweet characters and that is what Grant is! He is so wonderful. The book is in his POV so you really get attached to him. You follow him from beginning to end and it’s like an evolution. When he meets Tristen (His absolute total opposite) he has no idea how much his life is about to change. This book truly had everything. There’s psycho ex’s, hilarious banter, amazing c [...]

    15. So…. I really admire Wade Kelly and have enjoyed her other works tremendously. I think I’ve read most of them with the exception of “Misplaced Affection” which she warned me was “really angsty”. I thought the blurb for this sounded hysterical and I know Wade is really good at writing quirky characters full of charm. The story started off really great. Grant is a neurotic 26 year old virgin bank teller who meets a guy at work – Tristann Carr , the mechanic – who really turns his cr [...]

    16. A Joyfully Jay review. 4.25 starsBankers’ Hours was, at its core, a sweet romance between two men that desperately deserved a happy ever after. The plot is occasionally inane and there were times the characters and their actions were preposterous, but the affection between Grant and Tristan is generally strong enough to weather the rougher areas of the story. I see so much of myself in Grant it’s eerie. He’s obviously not low maintenance and at times he’s painfully oblivious to the rest [...]

    17. Warm and wonderful. Grant is one of those characters I could see myself having coffee with! I think we have all had moments in our life where we have felt the way he does about himself.

    18. Narration Rating: 5 StarsGrant Adams is twenty-six. His bank just transferred him to a new city where he is trying to start a new life. Grant also has a few issues; he’s OCD; he has a deep aversion to germs, bugs, scary things, people he doesn’t know well; and he’s still a virgin. One thing he does know for sure is that he is gay. 100% gay. So when Tristan Carr walks into his bank, and up to his teller window, Grant is smitten to the point of being tongue-tied.After a few days of flirting [...]

    19. 2.5 heart review for Love Bytes Reviews.A copy of this book was provided in exchange for an honest review. This review was originally posted at Love Bytes Reviews, please visit lovebytesreviews to see this and many more reviews, interviews, and giveaways!Grant Adams is a mess. He’s in his mid twenties and a virgin. He’s annoying, whiny, and has OCD about a LOT of things. He works in a small bank in a small town. He’s overly attached to his mother. He has only one real friend, who is he ver [...]

    20. First of all, How did I miss the release of this book? Thanks to Dreamspinner Press Daily Deal EmailsWithout them I may have never discovered this goodie by Author Wade Kelley. This story is a perfect example of how opposites attract. Grant is adorable and I loved his eccentricities. He reminds me of Eeyore from Winnie The PoohIf Eeyore was also OCD and a germaphobe. Some might find those things annoying, but I found it endearing and so did Tristan Carr. Tristen is a local mechanic who owns his [...]

    21. I have really enjoyed all of Wade Kelly's previous books, but this one just didn't work for me. It was way over the top and just not believable. I found myself skimming the last 5o pages.

    22. ARC provided by the publisher through Scattered Thoughts and Rogue Words in exchange for an impartial review. Grant Adams is a twenty-six-year-old bank teller, recently transferred from another branch, when thirty-two-year-old Tristan Carr walks up to his window and enters his life. Little does Grant know that his OCD, well-ordered, neat and clean, lonely, virginal life is about to change for the better. And little does Tristan know that his easy going, unscheduled, untidy bachelor existence is [...]

    23. I actually enjoyed this read, except for maybe having to deal with the same fear as Grant…I think I screamed just as loud as he did *shivers tremendously*. Tristan is an amazing man. Where do I even start? He puts his personal life on hold to raise his daughter. He joins the military, offers to marry the "thing" (I personally cannot call her a human let alone a mother) who gave birth, keeps his sexual orientation in the closet knowing it may cost seeing his daughter, gives child support money [...]

    24. **Originally Posted on Kiki's Kinky Picks** Reviewed by BrandyBankers’ Hours by Wade Kelly was a breath of fresh air. I had a lot of fun getting to know Tristan and Grant. I really loved the fumbling of Grant and his many shows of eccentricity.Grant was a whole new classification of character to me. I couldn’t believe he was a virgin at 25 AND had never been kissed. It was fun finding out why he had never made it to first base, but honestly it all seemed a bit forced. He also got puffed up a [...]

    25. Conflicted All the WayWhile I found this story sweet from beginning to end (notwithstanding a whole pile of nasty little plot twists) I found myself wondering whom I should be more sympathetic toward: Grant the Nerd, who is really not a nerd but a reasonably attractive 26-year-old bank teller with a host of self conscious issues; or Tristan The Mechanic who is six years older, far more masculine, and swamped with a lot of repressed issues himself. Tristan falls instantly in lust and love with Gr [...]

    26. For some reason, I’ve not read many of Wade Kelly books. The ones I’ve read are beautifully written and really draw you into the story, this one being no different.Okay, I’m just going to get the one huge issue I had off my chest because it pretty much plagued me through out the middle to end of the story. Even though Tristan try to claim it was his fault with anger management issues among others and going to sessions to work on it etc. I had issues with every time these two had a disagree [...]

    27. 3.5 starsThis is my 3rd book from Wade Kelly (the other two were the Jock Series books that I really liked). What I felt while reading and after I finished for this book were aqurately described already from Dani here. What I'll add is that it might have been a bit more believable first if I had actually met a person as patient as Tristan (man or woman) which I haven't and secondly if we had a chapter or whatever thrown in from Tristan's POV 'cos you can't love someone after 2 weeks of flirtatio [...]

    28. Grant Adams is a bank teller. He's new to this bank location because he was relocated when his branch closed. Grant is 26, gay and more than a little OCD. He meets customer Tristan Carr who owns an auto mechanic business and does his banking at this branch. Grant thinks Tristan is incredibly hot but thinks he's straight. When Tristan asks him out for a beer, he agrees thinking that it would be good to make a friend. When he finds out that Tristan is gay, he freaks a little. Through an odd set of [...]
