It was such a fantastic evening.This book is amazing, what Linda Shum has done, and is still doing, for abandoned children in one part of China is wonderful. Jane Hutcheon has written about all aspects of this project in a very honest way. Some of this book is really sad and often confronting. Much of it is uplifting. You feel the sense of frustration in trying to work with Chinese regulations.
