Three-and-a-half stars.With a keen eye to detail to the story structure of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, (view spoiler)[complete with frame story, narrated by 1880's Perry White to James Gordon, (hide spoiler)] the parallels this story draws between it and the Superman mythos are fun and surprising, even though the overall concept is far from intuitive.     2. I wanted this book to be longer. Well done with the retelling of a well known story but with Superman characters inserted into the tale.

Just read this, rather enjoyed it as i've been perusing the Elseworld's series, as a fan of Frankenstein (albiet not a huge one) I have to say this was the weaker of the one's i've read so far with Supes (metropolis and war of the worlds), however if you are a fan of Luthor you're in luck since he is portraying, Victor the ambitious scientist. He gets more of the plot then Supes, however i do love that it starts as a story being told to Batman's Jim Gordon by Superman's Perry white.It's a quick [...]


    4. I enjoyed this Elseworlds take on Frankenstein, using the Superman/Luthor duality as it's base. Luthor is in the role of Frankenstein, with Superman the creature. The art could have been a little better, but the story itself flowed nicely and was enjoyable.
