    2. This is an engineered book, as flaps and interactive movements are on each page of Maisy’s Wonderful Weather Book. Each page consists of a different weather and some things that someone might do, see, or wear in that weather. The pull-tabs or flaps also relate to the weather on the page. This book is for beginning readers, however, one critique we have is that in order to make this book enjoyable for older readers is to give it a plot so readers can stay intrigued in what Maisy will do next. A [...]

    3. Billed as a “Maisy First Science Book”, this book nicely lays out basic weather for children to learn about. Fans of Maisy will enjoy seeing her enjoy similar weather to what they also experience. Maisy experiences sunny, snowy, rainy, windy, stormy, and rainbow weather, and for each one she shouts “Hooray!”. Consistent with her other books, the text rhymes and uses thick, bold lettering with short enough words and sentences that early readers can begin to read the book aloud themselves. [...]

    4. Fantastic book! I know it is targeted at older toddlers (so they know what to do and hopefully won't destroy it) but my 6 month old just LOVES this book! The bright colours, the movements, the fun lively story. She is captivated the whole way through which is rare for such a young baby. I'm sure she will eventually destroy it but for now, these Maisy science books are my favourite books to read to her.

    5. I liked that this was a pop-up book my children didn't instantly destroy--not sure if it was the book's construction or that they are finally aging out of destroying pop-ups. The kids liked the different weather illustrations and had fun going through it several times on their own.

    6. This was a super cute pop-up book, unfortunately the library copy is feeling the abuse. I think it will be a lot of fun for story time read aloud but may be falling apart too much for that.

    7. Whatever the weather, Maisy knows how to have fun! Lift the flaps and pull the tabs to learn all about weather. Perfect for children 24 months and older.
