    2. Dan Didio's embarrassingly shoddy writing, particularly in dialogue, is so horrendous at times his work seems almost a satire of the superhero team genre. A barely tolerable series when Batman was in charge, it flounders badly without his presence. Current leader of the team Geo-Force is king of his country Markovia. 3. I believe I reviewed Dan Didio's take on the Outsiders as a whole when I reviewed The Road to Hell but I might as well use this as an opportunity to rag on about this horrid run. I don't understand how this could have been green lit if anybody else had submitted the scripts. There are story arcs that have different events but they still link to the main story-line. I fear that this series is over until a better writer with a better understanding of the characters can take over.
